The Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER) began the training of trainers in November 2020. This training consists of two main parts

  1. Training of trainers in Barcelona 2020 -: 4 days of synchronous training, on 24, 25, 26 and 30 November 2020.
  2. Asynchronous 10-week online training: From December 20, 2020 to February 13, 2021.

The training took place in the virtual campus designed by the FUNIBER ICT team. Through different webinars, the trainers presented tools to design didactic programs in virtual learning environments, as well as the different methodologies and techniques of e-learning. They described the different resources and tools for the design of the virtual campus, and their appearance, management and operation characteristics; as well as different innovative educational proposals based on ICT, and the digital skills necessary to improve pedagogical intervention in online teaching.

52 professionals (10 administrative and 42 university teachers) from 3 Georgian (ISU, BSU, TESAU), 3 Israeli (LEVINSKY, ONO, MEITAL), 2 Spanish (UVIGO, FUNIBER), 1 Portuguese (the coordinators) and  1 Romanian university (TUCN) participated into the training.  Due to the pandemic all the sessions were conducted virtually, as a fully online course.

The second part of the training is currently being carried out, asynchronously, also through the virtual campus designed by the FUNIBER ICT team and coordinated by the Education Area.
